Kicking Horse Resort Backcountry
Golden B.C.  Often referred to as “slack country” due to the fact that you gain most of your elevation riding the gondola to the top of Kicking Horse Resort. There is something really nice about being able to have a leisurely 9:00 am start, still ski a 10,000ft day of powder, and be back in town in time for dinner.
This trip is great for intermediate to expert skiers.
This also makes an excellent warm up for those planning on doing a hut based week of ski touring or those heading mechanized skiers who dont mind a little more exercise.
